BOUT HU JIA ZHUANG
《扈家庄》
《扈家庄》一剧取材于我国古典文学名著《水浒传》。宋江率梁山兵将攻打祝家庄, 扈家庄与祝家庄为邻，扈三娘系祝彪的未婚妻，乃率兵来援，激战中擒获梁山王英。其后，扈三娘为林冲所擒。此剧为武旦或刀马旦的重头戏，以京剧舞蹈为主。
This opera is taken from a famous chinese classical novel "the Water  Margins"a story about a well-known peasant uprising during the Song Dynasty. Song Jiang, the uprising leader, takes his troops to Zhu Village and is about to attack it. Zhu Village and its neighbouring village Hu village have formed a military alliance. for Hu Sanniang,a young lady in Hu village is engaged to ZhuBiao, the youngest son of the Zhu family. When the fighting starts,Hu Sanniang captures Wang Ying,a warrior in the uprising troops, and in turn,she is captured by Lin chong,an able general  in Song Jiang's troops. This is an opera full of exciting scenes with acrobatic dances in which the female warrior Hu sanniang plays very important role.

京剧四大名旦-荀慧生（二）
     荀慧生喜欢作画，1924年正式拜吴昌硕为师，他又向齐白石等名师求教，丰富了他的艺术生活，提高了他的艺术素养。1927年北京报界举办京剧旦行评选，他与梅、尚、程一起被誉为“四大名旦”，这也标志着他艺术走向成熟，得到社会肯定，赢得了观众的赞赏。1931年再次入选“四大名旦”。
